Matt stems from a long line of artistic family members. As a youngster, his early inspirations arose from the murals his grandfather painted in WWII on bomber planes and pilots' jackets. From the beginning he had a deep appreciation for symbolic and meaningful artwork. This funneled naturally into tattooing and has been his passion for the past ten years.Tattooing in Dallas, Texas for the past 9 years, Matt has a heavy influence of Texas-traditional tattooing, Traditional Japanese, Sign Painting and Illustration. He has recently moved back to his roots in Columbus, Ohio and you can find him tattooing at Memento Tattoo & Gallery.
